Joe Meets Julie - A QR Code Connection by Brand Fuel
"Sign, sign everywhere a sign" goes the song by The 5 Man Electrical Band. Quick Response (QR) Codes are ubiquitous. Reading about a new band in a 2-dimensional magazine and want more? With a QR Code, you can be directed to listen to them instantly and even buy their songs online by using a smart-phone QR Code scanner (free app).
So, why should you place QR Codes on your branded products?
Send end users to a survey to capture business insights and follow up with a "thank you" gift for responding.
Capture and get updated contact information
Show off a new video, product or service
Offer a downloadable coupon to drive and track new business = ROI
Connect fans to a Facebook contest to help create a larger following
Offer a show trade-show special that can only be found through the QR code.
Share massive amounts of information like a catalog or user manual (without killing trees).
QR Codes are currently one of the simplest and best mechanisms to get end users to visit content on a website - and promotional products can very well be the conduit. Enjoy this video that features QR Codes on print, promo product, surveys and even dating.

Some celebrate their anniversaries with a champagne toast. Ok, so we opted for the Jell-O shots for our 10th anniversary. While others might be inclined to sing the tired "Happy Birthday" song, we opted for the Caribbean sounds of the steel drum. Pin the flame on the rocket game, check. Get free stuff, check. Great supplier partners, check. Rocket Day client appreciation antics, check.
Happy birthday to us.

AIGA Raleigh and Brand Fuel Holiday Party
What is the Chicken Love Holiday Ornament? In it's simplest form, it is the symbol of the Brand Fuel * AIGA Holiday Party. Brand Fuel's showroom is where designers in the triangle area gathered and competed for awards for "BEST OF" originally made ornaments. As well, a tremendous amount of design community holiday cheer was shared.
Ornament Award categories began with Most Dangerous and ended with The Better Luck Next Year Award. Awards came in the form of a used VHS tape of The Exorcist II, a Brand Fuel thermos full of liquor, and of course, Circus Peanuts. Please join us next year to celebrate another season of community cheer and avoided Exacto-related injuries.
Halloween at Brand Fuel It’s one of Brand Fuels grandest traditions: Every Halloween, Fuelers don their most creative costumes and head to the Waffle House for lunch, where our waitress selects a winner.
